Loneliness can make us feel cut off from others and others being cut off from us.

Being alone does not necessarily mean you are lonely, but social isolation can make the negative impacts of being alone stronger.

A feeling of us not being dependant on others and others not being dependant on us.

Being alone, where we take the time to build resiliency and self reliance, can advance our self discovery and develop our own life pathway.

Like a solo adventure, it allows us to learn more about ourselves and our needs.

Overcoming the downsides of loneliness can help us appreciate the value of social connections when we are ready to accept and welcome them.
