Fear is a natural feeling that can help or harm our mental wellness.

It's like an alarm system in our brain, warning us of danger.

When we face challenges or threats, fear can motivate us to take action to protect ourselves.

But too much fear or constant worry can harm our mental health.

Balancing fear helps us stay safe and mentally well.

Summary:

It is understandable to want anxiety to disappear.

It is supposed to be uncomfortable.

To fight fear you must be first willing to face it.

Escape and avoidance only provides short term relief but feeds anxiety in the long term.

Our attempts to control fear and eliminate it becomes the real problem that dictates our every move

You must experience it to truly believe it.

The things you do most often become your comfort zone.

If you want to feel less anxious about something, do it as often as you can.

Author's Opinion 2

Book: Level Up by Rod Dial 2023

Fear is a defense mechanism.

Do the math: 97 percent of our worries never materialize.

Fear arises from an image in our brain of future pain. Every fear is about the brain trying to avoid future pain.

Life is too short to spend it scared, angry, anxious, sad, worried, or bogged down with negative emotions.

Eventually, the result of not taking action will catch up with you.

Fear is letting you know that you have reached the edge of your comfort zone. Its a sign of what you need to push past so you can grow.
