Reality check?

Web Wisdom

Denial is when we refuse to accept a painful reality, like pretending something hasn't happened.

It's related to mental wellness because it can temporarily shield us from emotional distress. When you ignore or avoid facing the truth, even though deep down you know something isn't right.

While it may provide temporary relief, it can lead to prolonged suffering.

**It's important to confront and address the truth to find healing. **

This will help process emotions, find solutions, and ultimately maintain better well-being by moving forward in a healthy way.
